I got my start in paid media back in 2005, working for one of Australia's first authorised resellers of Google Ads. In the 20+ years since, I've worked across and inside numerous agencies, founded my own startups, and run paid media in-house, which means I've seen this industry from just about every angle there is.
Along the way I've had the privilege of working on some of the country's best-known brands, either in-house or in agency roles, including Apple Australia, Westfield, PayPal Australia, Yellow Pages, Booktopia, Allianz and Royal Caribbean, among many others. Across Google, Meta and now ChatGPT Ads, my focus has stayed the same: connecting ad performance to what actually matters, which is qualified pipeline and revenue, not vanity metrics. Most accounts come to me with dubious setups, broken tracking and wasted spend, and rectifying that quickly is where I do my best work. I've also shared what I've learned as a contributing author for Search Engine Journal.
